Welcome to Poplar Point Studio – a premier Landscape Design, Photography and Graphic Design company in the Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York.

This is a one-woman shop, so I’m fairly busy outside doing landscapes in the Summer and Fall.  The photography and graphic/web-design portions are more free-lance and I work on them as the projects come along that suit my skills and interests.

Spicing up the landscape at a Restaurant in T-Burg

Just spent a couple days spicing up the landscaping at Ron Don’s in Trumansburg, NY. Took the rocks out from between railway ties, jack-hammered down 6 inches (through asphalt) to give some extra room for soil and roots, then planted a line of hardy spirea and finished it off with natural brown mulch! Great rewards for less than 2 days efforts!

Fall is for Planting!

Exciting couple weeks! It’s fall, and that means not only is it getting a little cooler, but it’s a great time to plant! We just finished a great installation in Aurora NY, (right on main street by the Aurora Arts and Design Center) There is still some time left for clean-ups, bulb planting, and even filling in some bare spots with sale plants!
