Part of my training as a landscape architect has exposed me to a number of graphic design principles and design programs that can be utilized in a number of ways, including logo designs, brochures, posters, fliers as well as other marketing materials.
Growing up around techies and web-designers, I have also inherited an ability to understand user experience and basic website design. I have tried a number of ‘wysiwyg’ (what you see is what you get) design programs for websites and have turned instead to easy content managed sites using wordpress templates.
The combination of ‘techie’ experience as well as graphic design background helps me customize those templates for a number of my clients. I partner with my cousin, Dan Mandle, who does more of the custom coding work, and site hosting if I need it.
